There looks set to be plenty of changes at The Emirates in the summer and it seems that there are already plenty of rumours doing the rounds.

Or colleagues at The Mirror have been reporting on all the latest stories surrounding the Gunners.

Manchester United, Arsenal, Manchester City and Chelsea ALL eyeing Stoke’s Jack Butland

Four of the Premier League’s top six have made fresh checks on Jack Butland following his return to action.

Manchester City, Manchester United, Chelsea and Arsenal are all keeping tabs on Stoke star Butland, who has got back into the first team after a year out with a bad ankle injury.

The revived interest could lead to the 24-year-old England international joining the goalkeeping merry-go-round this summer.

United and City are most likely to move for new No1s this summer, and are among the clubs keeping track of how Butland has been getting on since his comeback last month.

Double raid

Transfer windows don’t tend to be Arsene Wenger’s time to shine but if he pulls off a double raid on Real Madrid, fans may be impressed.

However, it’s not Cristiano Ronaldo or Gareth Bale being spoken about but Danilo and Karim Benzema.

Spain’s Don Balon claim Wenger, should be still be there, wants Danilo to replace Hector Bellerin should the defender go to Barcelona in the summer.

Olivier Giroud’s future is also not assured, hence talk of Benzema.

Arsenal eye Corentin Tolisso transfer with French midfielder set to quit Lyon to boost his World Cup chances

Arsene Wenger is keen on Corentin Tolisso, with the French midfielder is set to leave Lyon this summer.

Arsenal boss Wenger is planning a major overhaul of his squad, looking to strengthen the defence, in midfield and their range of attacking options, and is a long-term admirer of the 22-year-old.

The Gunners are already hot on the trail of Malaga’s Spain international midfielder Pablo Fornals , 21, and Tolisso is another target, although Lyon would want in excess of £30million to part with him.

Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez slams fans’ “very bad” Wenger Out demonstrations as he hints at a summer transfer

Alexis Sanchez has given a major clue he WILL quit Arsenal this summer – but launched a stinging defence of boss Arsene Wenger.

Striker Sanchez has admitted he will decide on his future at the end of the season and it is believed he could go if the Gunners fail to secure their usual place in the Champions League.

But the 28-year-old has also insisted it is “very bad” that fans have been demonstrating against Wenger and calling for him to go this summer, when his contract expires.

Sanchez is a big-money target for Manchester City, Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich and their hopes will increase if Arsenal miss out on the top four — they must beat Everton in Sunday;s finale while hoping already-relegated Middlesbrough take something off Liverpool at Anfield.

Lacazette given green light to quit Lyon

Lyon chairman Jean-Michel Aulas has indicated that star striker Alexandre Lacazette will be allowed to leave the club this summer if the deal is right for Les Gones.

Lacazette has been the subject of transfer speculation for the past several seasons, and this summer the 25-year-old – a product of Lyon’s academy – has been linked with Atletico Madrid and Arsenal amongst others.

“Alex had a good option with a club that is in his heart,” Aulas said.

“If the club of his heart is able to match our demands – as Barcelona did last season for Sam Umtiti – then things will go well. Otherwise, it will depend on our other business.”

Sanchez

Alexis Sanchez has the right stuff for Manchester United, claims Old Trafford legend Ryan Giggs.

The contract stalemate between the Chilean and the Gunners has led to him being connected with top clubs around Europe.

Giggs reckons he’s be a good fit at United with his work rate and winning mentality.

“Yeah. Jose Mourinho bought [Zlatan] Ibrahimovic because he is a winner,” he is quoted by the Express.

“He’d won everywhere he’d gone. Not only the effect on the pitch but off the pitch as well.

“You can just feel that Sanchez would give his team-mates a lift.”

Kolasinac clinched

Arsenal have fended off interest from Manchester City and Chelsea to snatch Schalke defender Sead Kolasinac.

AC Milan and Everton were also keen on the 23-year-old Bosnia and Herzegovina international.

Kolasinac has been offered a four-year contract by the Gunners, can play left wing back and is seen as the club’s long term first choice.

Wenger played down the story last month but Arsenal are confident the deal is done for the full back who is a free agent in the summer.

Gazidis

Ivan Gazidis could walk away from his power struggle with Arsene Wenger for a flash new job in the US.

The Arsenal chief executive is reportedly being targeted for the role as head of Major League Soccer, reports The Telegraph.

It’s no secret Gazidis wants a change to the structure at the Emirates, including talk about a sporting director coming in, which doesn’t impress Wenger.

If Wenger does stay, which he insists he is, the paper claims the MLS are willing to pounce and bring him in to replace commissioner Don Garber.

Morata

Arsenal will bid £50million for Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata to beat Chelsea and Manchester United to the Spain international’s signature.

The Gunners are looking to revamp their attack with Olivier Giroud in and out of the side and Alexis Sanchez’s future still unclear.

Zinedine Zidane prefers Karim Benzema up top for Los Blancos and the Sun believe Arsenal will attempt to take advantage.

Should a deal be pushed through, it would break the north Londoners’ transfer record.

Sanchez

Atletico Madrid will move for Alexis Sanchez if Antoine Griezmann leaves this summer (Mail)

Turan

Arsenal have reportedly held transfer talks with Barcelona’s Arda Turan.

Mundo Deportivo report that the Gunners have spoken to the agent of the Turkish midfielder over the possibility of a summer move.

Turan is out of favour at Barcelona and has previously suggested that he could leave the Nou Camp in order to find regular football.

The 30-year-old is seen as an ideal replacement for Alexis Sanchez, should he leave the Emirates this summer.

A fee of just £21million is being suggested for Turan’s services.

Lemar

Arsene Wenger has identified Monaco’s Thomas Lemar as a top midfield target this summer, writes Mirror Football’s John Cross.

The Arsenal boss is a huge admirer of the 21-year-old, and is desperate to strengthen his Gunners in that department during the next transfer window.

The fact that Wenger is pushing for the deal is, of course, another clear sign he wants to stay on as manager beyond the expiration of his current contract at the end of the season.

Mezut Ozil

Mesut Ozil has hinted he wants to stay at Arsenal beyond this summer after admitting he feels ‘happy and comfortable’ in London.

The 28-year-old, who cost Arsenal £42.5million when he joined from Real Madrid in 2013, has just over a year remaining on his contract.

Ozil has been offered an £280,000-a-week extension to his current deal but is yet to put pen to paper and there are growing fears he could leave this summer.

Fenerbahce are keen to take Ozil to Turkey but could not afford to match Arsenal’s contract offer while Chinese Super League clubs are also interested.

The man himself, though, suggested a move to the Far East was not his first choice as ‘money is not everything’ and he has since reiterated his love for London.

Ox move?

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is considering switching Arsenal for a move to Liverpool in the summer.

England star Oxlade-Chamberlain’s deal at the Emirates runs out at the end of next season to leave the midfielder assessing his options.

The Gunners man is thinking about renewing his contract in north London but if they fail to move he would be available for around £25m according to the Daily Telegraph.

Oxlade-Chamberlain originally played as a winger when he moved from Southampton in 2011 – but has switched to central midfield this season, which the player would like to continue under Jurgen Klopp.

Etihad bound

Manchester City are preparing to use defender Jason Denayer as bait in their bid to lure Alexis Sanchez to the Etihad from Arsenal.

That is according to The Sun, who say Pep Guardiola is leading the race for the £50million-rated Chilean.

Sanchez is yet to put pen to paper on fresh terms at the Emirates and his contract expires at the end of next season.

Arsenal have previously been interested in Belgian international Denayer, 21, who has suffered an injury-hit campaign on loan at relegated Sunderland this season.

Wenger blast

Arsene Wenger has ridiculed the notion of a director of football being appointed at Arsenal.

Borussia Dortmund’s Michael Zorc is the latest name to be linked with the post as Arsenal’s hierarchy look to make a summer shake-up at the Emirates.

But Wenger said: “No. I don’t know what director of football means. Is it somebody who stands in the road and directs play right and left? I don’t understand and I never did understand what it means.

“No, no, no. Sorry, no. I’m not prepared to talk about that. I’m the manager of Arsenal Football Club and as long as I’m manager of Arsenal Football Club, I will decide what happens on the technical front. That’s it.”

That could be a major issue for Wenger who is expected to sign a new two year contract but chief executive Ivan Gazidis has been pushing for change in the backroom staff.

Perez

Arsene Wenger has said he “feels sorry” for Lucas Perez and admitted that the Arsenal striker could leave in the summer.

The Gunners signed the Spaniard from Deportivo La Coruna for £17.1m in the summer, but have rarely used him.

A mixture of injuries and being dropped have led to only two Premier League starts for the 28-year-old.

Due to limited game time, the Gunners forward has only scored one league goal this season.

With rumours surrounding the striker’s future, Wenger opened up honestly on Perez.

He said: “He is again fit. He was back in training yesterday.

“He’s a top quality striker but I couldn’t give him the games he wants and deserves, I confess that. I feel a bit sorry for him.

“If I am the manager I would love to keep him but we have to sit down and see if he has a realistic chance to play.”

Bolt

World’s fastest man Usain Bolt has called for Alexis Sanchez to leave Arsenal and join his beloved Manchester United.

The Gunners star’s future is up in the air with the Chilean refusing to sign a new contract. His current deal runs out at the end of next season.

And eight-time Olympic gold medalist Bolt believes the 28-year-old would be a perfect signing for Jose Mourinho at United.

Speaking recently to Fox Sports, Bolt said: “I know Alexis. He plays for Arsenal. He should leave.”

When asked if he would like to see Sanchez at United, Bolt replied: “He would be great. He’s a player who I’ve always said [we need] over the years. We need someone who is capable of picking up the ball and creating chances for other people

“He’s proven himself to be one of the best.”

Lehmann

Jens Lehmann is convinced that Arsene Wenger is the right man to lead faltering Arsenal back to former glories.

The former German international goalkeeper was part of the Wenger team that went unbeaten in the 2003/04 season.

And he says the Gunners just wouldn’t be the same without their French boss.

“If Arsene stays, he will make Arsenal a better squad next season. I am confident about that,” said Lehmann.

Lucas Perez

Lucas Perez looks set to leave Arsenal this summer.

The Spaniard has had a frustrating season since his £17m arrival from Deportivo.

He has returned from injury in recent weeks but wasn’t in the squad for matches against Leicester and Spurs.

According to the Mail , a return to Spain could be on the cards with Deportivo interested in taking him back.

Jack not coming back?

A loan move appears more likely, if he is to rejoin his former club.

Jack Wilshere is doing his injury rehabilitation at Bournemouth — a fact that will cast fresh doubt over his Arsenal future, writes the Daily Mirror’s John Cross.

England midfielder Wilshere is recovering from a broken leg suffered while on a season-long loan with the Cherries, and has not played since April 15.

But the fact he has not returned to Arsenal for his rehab suggests the Gunners are not in a rush to get him back.

The real story on Ozil

Arsene Wenger has urged Mesut Ozil ’s critics to ignore his style and pay attention to the pure stats, writes Adrian Kajumba.

Arsenal playmaker Ozil has been under fire and scrutiny again recently after a string of underwhelming performances.

The World Cup winner’s languid movement and body language, which at times makes him look disinterested during matches, do not help the German when the hunt is on for Gunners scapegoats.

But boss Wenger reckons that with the 28-year-old it is a case of looks can be deceiving.

Latest figures from Premier League partners EA Sports lend some support to Wenger’s claims.

Lacazette

Arsenal have been beaten to the signing of Alexandre Lacazette with Atletico Madrid agreeing terms with the Lyon striker.

The Gunners have long been linked to the French star, but RMC have reported that Lacazette has opted to join Los Colchoneros

With Olivier Giroud pushed out of the side and Alexis Sanchez not deemed a long-term solution, it is a blow for Arsene Wenger.

Arsenal will have to turn their attention elsewhere as they bid to recover after falling short once again in the title race.

Left-back deal

Arsenal and Manchester City have offered Schalke left-back Sead Kolasinac a deal worth £119,000-per-week to join on a free transfer (Bild)

“Not good enough for Spurs”

As if Arsenal’s woes weren’t compounded enough by confirmation with their 2-0 defeat at White Hart Lane that they can no longer mathematically catch rivals Tottenham Hotspur , former centre-back Martin Keown has stick the knife in with some harsh words for his old club.

In his latest column, the pundit claimed that the Gunners absolutely must sign one of Europe’s top midfielders to fill the gap that has been left painfully exposed in the absence of Santi Cazorla.

Writing for the Daily Mail , he also passed judgement on which of this current crop of Arsenal players are good enough to make it into Mauricio Pochettino’s side.

Keane

Roy Keane has suggested a weakened Manchester United team could still beat Arsenal this weekend.

Jose Mourinho is ready to give up on the top four and prioritise the Europa League ahead of his side’s semi-final with Celta Vigo.

United go to the Emirates this weekend in between the two legs and Mourinho has admitted he may throw in the towel to ensure his players are fit for the reverse at Old Trafford next Thursday.

Old Trafford legend Keane believes Mourinho is making the right decision as the Red Devils look to win a trophy.

And he even claimed United could still beat the Gunners after making wholesale changes.

Demand

Atletico Madrid have been linked with a move for Arsenal contract rebel Alexis Sanchez.

The Chilean’s Emirates future has been one of this season’s big talking pints at the club, with his deal set to expire at the end of next season.

And now Diego Simeone’s side are the latest club to be linked with the Gunners’ top scorer.

The Sun report that they have identified the 28-year-old as a replacement for Antoine Griezmann, who has been strongly linked with a move to Manchester United.

Giroud

Olivier Giroud’s agent has claimed the France striker will decide his Arsenal future when he knows if Arsene Wenger is staying.

The £13m signing signed a one-year extension on in his contract in January to tie him to the Gunners till 2019.

But Giroud, 30, has lost his regular starting place this season and has been linked with a summer move to Marseille.

His agent Michael Manuello said: “There has not been any contact between Marseille and us. Now, as there is uncertainty about what Arsenal are going to do and if there is uncertainty on his role, we will reflect on this in the summer.

Arsenal’s potential Santi Cazorla replacement Fornals profiled

Arsenal have been linked with a summer move for Malaga midfielder Pablo Fornals as Arsene Wenger gets set to re-tool his squad this summer.

Spanish newspaper Marca have reported that the Gunners have been regularly sending scouts to keep an eye on the £15million rated star, report football.london .

Fornals is under contract with Malaga until 2019, but his stock is on the rise after an impressive campaign.

He was last year handed his full international debut by Spain boss Julen Lopetegui, who clearly rates the 21-year-old.

Sanchez

Arsenal legend Charlie Nicholas wants the Gunners to sell Alexis Sanchez to Chelsea after the club’s “embarrassing” North London derby defeat.

The Chile striker is out of contract next year and has failed to agree a new deal.

And Nicholas told talkSPORT: “I was embarrassed to watch them against Tottenham . Arsenal were embarrassing. It was embarrassing even the team Arsene Wegner picked.

” Sanchez is not interested playing on the left side and Ozil just doesn’t play in the big games for Arsenal.

“Sanchez has not been interested in the game for the last eight weeks. He is camouflaging it.

“I would sell him. Get him out. If he wants to go to Chelsea and Chelsea want to pay £60million, I would sell him to Chelsea.”

“They should have said to Sanchez two months ago: ‘Are you signing?’ If he said ‘No, I’m not going to sign’, then he should be sold in the summer. They should isolate the players.

“They don’t have values now and any soul. They have lost their credibility. The club is a mess. It is painful to watch.”

Transfer blow

Failure to qualify for the Champions League will prove costly to Arsenal, and in a number of ways.

Adding to a significant loss of revenue and the ire of fans, Arsene Wenger is also apparently going to miss out on top attacking target Alexandre Lacazette.

The Telegraph say he’s top of their list should Alexis Sanchez or Mesut Ozil depart but Lyon’s Lacazette has made it very clear that he wants Champions League or nothing at all.

Red alert for Karim Benzema

Karim Benzema has alerted Arsenal after the Real Madrid striker told his agent he is keen for a move.

France international Benzema would cost the Gunners around £50m but face competition from Manchester United – who are looking to replace injured Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

The front man has only netted 15 times this season to regularly receive boos from the Bernabeu crowds – despite boss Zinedine Zidane claiming he brings more than goals, claims the Daily Express, via Don Balon .

The Gunners are looking to completely rebuild their squad this summer after a disappointing season which could force them to miss out on Champions League football.

New DOF?

Arsenal have Hoffenheim’s Alexander Rosen on their radar in their search for a director of football.

The Gunners have been alerted to sporting director Rosen, 37, who has been an key figure in Hoffenheim’s success this season.

They have been one of the Bundesliga’s surprise packages since Rosen appointed rising managerial star Julian Nagelsmann.

Nagelsmann, just 29, has followed up steering Hoffenheim to safety last year by leading them to their best ever season this campaign.

Is he Wright?

Arsenal legend Ian Wright admits world class stars will sign for Tottenham rather than the Gunners – but refused to reveal who he would sign for.

Spurs will finish above Arsene Wenger’s side for the first time in 22-years after beating them 2-0 in the north London derby this weekend.

Mauricio Pochettino’s exciting men are still in the title race as they sit four point behind Chelsea – while the Gunners are struggling to qualify for the Champions League.

When asked on Match of the Day if he was a player now and got the same deal where he would sign, Wright said: “It is a really tough question. It is an unfair loaded club with my club on the floor and Tottenham flying.

“Of course right now you are going to sign for Spurs and the longer it takes for them to sort out what is going on upstairs we are no longer going to be able to attract that type of player.

“They are going to go to another club, rather than going to our club.”

Napoli show interest in Wojciech Szczesny for permanent move

Napoli are said to be interested in Arsenal keeper Wojciech Szczesny as a potential replacement for Pepe Reina.

Szczesny is on loan at Roma but may not return to the Emirates according to Il Matino .

But the Polish shot-stopper isn’t the only name on Napoli’s hit list – they are also making an approach for Juventus’s Brazilian goalie Neto.

Reports have suggested that Szczesny has his heart set on staying in Rome club following his impressive displays in the Serie A.

The head of the Polish FA and former Juventus forward Zbigniew Boniel recently claimed that Wenger would have to stand down for the keeper to consider a return to the north London club.

Bellerin

Barcelona technical secretary Robert Fernandez has opened up the possibility of a move for Arsenal’s Hector Bellerin.

Fernandez admitted the Catalans need a new right back and told RAC1 “we can do something there” when asked about Bellerin.

Bellerin is of course well known to the Nou Camp having come through their academy before leaving in 2011.

He added: “It’s true. Signing [a right-back] could be now important.

“Well, Bellerin is a player who has a contract at Arsenal. He is a magnificent player, undoubtedly, but there are more right-backs [who could be interested]. Barcelona have the obligation to have many right-backs under control.”

Arsenal ready to put Oxlade-Chamberlain in £100,000-a-week bracket

Arsenal are ready to put Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain in the £100,000-a-week bracket, writes the Mirror’s chief football writer John Cross.

Gunners boss Arsene Wenger will begin talks in the next fortnight as they look to keep hold of the 23-year-old England international.

Oxlade-Chamberlain has gone from strength to strength this season but his current deal expires in 2018 and Arsenal are keen to tie him down to a new deal.

Liverpool and both Manchester City and United are watching developments and will have been impressed with his recent form both in central midfield and as a right wing back.
