Nobody Can Believe Bayern Munich Are About to Sign Spurs Flop Paulinho

One of Tottenham‘s biggest transfer flops of all-time is on the verge of an extraordinary transfer this summer to one of European football’s genuine superpowers.

Paulinho, the Brazilian midfielder signed amidst great fanfare back in 2013 for a fee of around £17 million, is apparently about to sign for Bayern Munich, having spent the last two seasons at Chinese Super League side Guangzhou Evergrande.

Various reports online are claiming that Paulinho has been earmarked by Bayern to replace the retiring Xabi Alonso, and the news is very hard to believe when you consider the 28-year-old was once voted the worst Spurs player in the club’s long and illustrious history.

But it seems Carlo Ancelotti has spotted something we’ve all been missing – and it looks like he’ll launch next season’s bid to recapture the Champions League with Paulinho at the heart of his midfield.

What do you think of the news?
