Argentine striker Carlos Tevez is earning a massive £634,615-a-week at Shanghai Shenhua in Chinese Super League after his move to Far East last summer on a two year deal, according to reports.
101 Great Goals leaked the details of his contract at Shanghai Shenhua and the numbers are just ridiculous considering the amounts involved are nothing short of jaw-dropping for the on lookers.
Apart from the massive contract deal, Tevez also have some incredible bonuses and it all makes sense why he preferred a move to China in the fag end of his career.
The 33-year old had a great spell in Premier League as he represented West Ham, Manchester United and Manchester City in his illustrious career. He then moved to Italian champions Juventus and made a similar impact at Turin as he played a massive role in their recent cmapaigns.
Tevez then moved back to his homeland to play for his boyhood club Boca Juniors on a free deal and have then moved to CSL club Shenhua in a record deal.
He is believed to earn a whopping £788,000 if he plays in at just 70 percent of total games played by Shanghai Shenhua in the season. He will also get the same amount if his club can manage to win Chinese Super League title this season.
In other bonuses, he will receive £1.56million bonus if he can help Shanghai to Asian Champions League glory. An amount of £390,000 will be given as bonus if Shanghai wins domestic cup. He will also get the same bonus if he finishes as the top scorer in the league this season.
However, all has not been great for Tevez so far in China as he managed only one goal this season and have played 5 games for Shanghai Shenhua. The club were also knocked out of Asian Champions League in the qualification round against Brisbane Roar.
The mind blowing numbers show the incredible financial power that Chinese clubs possess these days and it remains to be seen for how long they can continue to get big names to Far East.
